Thank you!

As a Annishanabeg (Ojibwe) - Settler counsellor, I see my responsibilities to honouring the lands, ancestral wisdom, cultural ways of knowing, being, doing and belonging, through honouring "all my relations" within a dedication of healing, wholeness, cultural resurgence and resistance of systemic oppression. I am grateful and intentional to accept my roles and responsibilities to caring for the lands and honouring the life ways and wisdom of it's keepers in my area: the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, Annishinaabeg, Wendat, Chippewas and Mississaugas of the Credit.

I stand in deep solidarity with Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities. My work is grounded in a commitment to anti-racism and the ongoing process of decolonization — both personally and professionally. I acknowledge that systems of colonialism, white supremacy, and racial injustice continue to cause harm in our communities and within mental health spaces.

As a counselor, I strive to create a space that resists these oppressive structures and centers the voices, experiences, and wisdom of those most impacted. This means not only recognizing intergenerational trauma, but actively working toward collective liberation through accountability, education, and relational care. Healing is political — and rooted in justice, dignity, and belonging for all.
